Fresh new look, a more dynamic approach and a newly-expanded office

Here at Jacobs Allen we are celebrating several changes. We are today launching our new branding to coincide with the recent expansion of our Bury St Edmunds office following several years of acquisition and organic growth.

We have now taken over a second floor of our premises at 59 Abbeygate Street – right in the heart of the wonderfully historic market town – to cater for our ever-growing business. Jacobs Allen Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers have been offering an evolving and bespoke approach to client care since our inception in 1993. And we thought it was time for a fresh new look too with a new logo.

“We are wanting our branding to reflect what we offer here at Jacobs Allen,” said director Keith Senior, who bought the business with partner Sheila Burke back in 2006. “We are very proud of the bespoke service we offer our clients, many of whom are also based here in Bury St Edmunds.

“We have a team of qualified professionals who work closely with businesses and private clients and are able to tailor their advice to suit individual needs.

“The expansion is a huge step forward for us, linking with efficiencies in IT systems, and we are being sharper, dynamic and fresh in our approach, so our new branding is designed to reflect that.”

As well as our team in Bury St Edmunds, we also have an office in thriving Haverhill, and at both sites we partner with business owners at various stages of their journey. We work with varying size businesses from start-ups to larger businesses, always trying to assist them in achieving their goals. We pride ourselves on the fact we focus on helping clients to identify and manage their lifetime goals, and then encouraging action to achieve them.

We can advise on business strategy, exit planning, tax planning and wealth protection. Plus our team of qualified accountants and tax advisers can, of course, assist clients with their yearly accounts, tax affairs and other compliance matters as they expand and grow.

We stay at the forefront of developments in both the financial sphere and political arena, working with other quality professionals to help clients use cost effective solutions appropriate to their own circumstances. Recently we have identified and offered a cost effective integrated payroll and pension auto-enrolment solution for smaller clients, alleviating them from having to undertake this themselves.

We are also working with many property-owning clients to ensure they are taking steps to maximise future advantage as new tax rules are introduced. Jacobs Allen was formed in 1993 and was originally located in The Traverse. We moved to our current location in 2007 and opened the Haverhill office in 2012.
